It is necessary to emphasize that the initial planning preparations – the key to ensuring patient safety and the necessary flight permits - can impact on the time of leaving. The person the calls for this service is in a hurry to get started, but we must keep in mind that the time for takeoff on a mission is not always immediate. The normal departure time is one to two hours for air (jet) transport and immediately to minutes when using a helicopter or ambulance. All this can affect the total departure time of the aircraft or ground ambulance.
